Lingering summer

Only in AZ can you get summer weather in November. We actually had some colder weather couple of weeks ago but then it reverted back to the 90s. I got to wear my fall clothes and now back to summer clothes. I actually like it and doesn't mind it. Just as long it is not 110.

I decide it's fall!

So what that it's still over 100 outside? It is what you make it to be so I started layering today (and also due to the fact that I spilled coffee and got cream cheese all over my silk dress)The jacket was essential to cover up all my messes at the office.

Take it easy Sunday

Sunday has always been a "take it easy" day for me. We went for a walk this morning as the weather got much milder in the past couple of days. Then off to breakfast and the grocery store we went to stock on food for the week. A bike ride is planned for later today with Bella.

Summertime in AZ

It is too hot! This is how we cool down since we're still saving for a pool. All you need is a water hose and your bathing suit.

So I have been researching and looking at lots of digital perm pictures and finally decided to take the plunge. My hair is naturally super straight and my regiment consist of wash and go everyday. When I do use a curling iron, it falls out after an hour. So far, I've been pleased with the result.
This is day 3 after the perm and it has been aired dry. I am excited to style it tomorrow for work. I think it will look a lot nicer when I blow dry and do a little touch up with a curling iron.
It has been raining cats and dogs outside so no outside pictures today :(

Thursday means its almost Friday

I love the simlicity and color of this dress. Found it at a local vintage boutique and best of all it is silk and not the typical cheap rayon material. In this hot and musky weather, you need natural material to breath and be comfortable and I am all about comfort.
Had a good day at work and we snuck out a bit early to catch a movie.

She wanted to climb the tree. From far away it looked smaller, but upon inspection it was too high for her to climb up to the tree fork. I said better luck next year. I am pretty sure!
